Boulder County Crisis Counseling

JFS and Community Foundation Boulder County have partnered to offer counseling services to Boulder County residents.

This program, generously supported by CFBC’s Boulder County Wildfire Fund, supports the behavioral health needs of those affected by the Marshall Fire.

Individuals that have been impacted by the fire can identify and select a local licensed behavioral health provider. Providers on the list have availability and are accepting new clients in-person or virtually.

We have expanded our partnership to increase the number of sessions offered through the Boulder County Crisis Counseling (BCCC) program from 10 to 15.

The increase in sessions includes everyone who has registered for the program since December 30, 2021, as well as new registrants. The portal will remain open for new registrations until June 30, 2024. All participants will have until December 31, 2024, to use their 15 sessions.

If you have questions about your sessions or how many you have used, please contact bccc@jewishfamilyservice.org. For more information about this program, call 720.248.4686.

Access to longer-term mental health services

If you feel you will want/need more than 15 sessions, we encourage you to reach out to our team.

JFS Boulder has received a recovery grant from the Red Cross to expand access to longer-term mental health services for those impacted by the Marshall Fire and Straight-Line Wind Event, as well as individuals who have secondary trauma attributed to their roles as first responders, teachers, and disaster recovery staff. If you already received 15 counseling sessions through the Boulder County Crisis Counseling program or believe that you will need long-term therapy, please reach out to bccc@jewishfamilyservice.org to inquire about availability of our staff clinicians.

JFS serves people of all faiths, races, ages, incomes, abilities, sexual orientation, and gender identities.
